The Rotary Clubs of Salmaniya and Adliya jointly organized a tour of the old Manama Souk (traditional market) in Bahrain. Rotarians PP Mohamed Salahuddin, PP Zohar Taherbhai, and friend of Rotary Nabeel Ajoor all spoke about their experiences growing up in that area. The attendees experienced the historical significance of the old Manama firsthand, finding hidden gems along the way. The attendees had lunch at Naseef a traditional Bahraini restaurant, and the extra food was donated to the Capital Charity Association a charity located in the downtown area. The aim of the activity is to highlight the historical and cultural importance of the Manama area, promoting peaceful coexistence in the community.
