The Rotary Club of Salmaniya organized the Sustainable Farming Project for children with cancer and survivors of cancer on Saturday the 15th of January 2022. Children had a full day of activities which includes, learning about planting, feeding the farm animals,caricature drawing and harvesting vegetables from the farm. The children are members of the Dream Society and Smile of Bahrain, both Societies were very supportive of this project. The planting course and supervision of the harvesting of vegetables were arranged by Mrs. Tahera Jaberi. The caricature drawing course was given by Hajjar AlFadhala. The Rotary Club of Salmaniya is proud at award George Middleton the “Rotary Award for Excellence in Service” trophy on Wednesday the 22nd of December 2021 during the Christmas lunch. George Middleton is the Chairman of Red House Marketing the publisher of Bahrain this Month Magazine. The team at Red House marketing have always been supportive to our Club by publishing stories about the Rotary Club of Salmaniya’s activities. This trophy is an appreciation of the many years of support and coverage of the Club’s service work. The trophy is awarded to non-Rotary members who have done exceptional work in serving the community. The design of the trophy is the old logo of the Rotary Club of Salmaniya designed in the early 70s by the wife of one of the founding members Khalil Zaman. The Rotary Club of Salmaniya hosted a joint Rotary Christmas lunch on the 22nd of December 2021 at the Golden Tulip Hotel. President Faisal Juma handed out the Rotary Club of Salmaniya club banner to the other club presidents in the spirit of goodwill and friendship between the other Rotary Clubs of Bahrain. The Club invited Santa Claus to give out the prizes to the raffle draw winners. The other clubs that were invited were: Rotary Club of Adliya, Rotary Club of Seef Bahrain, Rotary Club of Manama, and the Rotaract Club of Bahrain.

Rotary Club of Manama (RCM) has been serving the citizens and the local community of The Kingdom Of Bahrain for more than 56 years, and this year with its challenging obstacles is no exception. This year RCM has decided to focus on Challenged Youth, and help them integrate into the community and the workforce. RCM has been arranging Campaigns to raise funds to support and provide facilities, trainings, coaching, & mentorship for our Challenged Youth to have vocational skills to be independent and get jobs.
