The Rotary Club of Salmaniya and the Manama Toastmasters Club is underway with the Youth Leadership Program. The third week was a session about round table topics. A couple of toastmaster members were on hand to give positive feedback on the presentations. The event is an eight week program designed for high school students to improve leadership and communication skills through practical experience. Six schools are involved in the program, with a total of 28 participants. The Rotary Club of Salmaniya has been recognized by the Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta for successfully organizing a Rotary Day of Service, which is one of the targets of this Rotary Year. A Rotary Day of Service is an service project related activity opened up for participation from non-members. The Rotary Club of Salmaniya organized the “Sustainable Farming Program” under the banner of Rotary Day of Service on Saturday 15th January 2022, completing one of the targets set by the Rotary International. #rotaryinternational #rotarydayofservice #rotaryresponds #peopleofaction #servetochangelives

Both clubs supplied 40 heaters and 40 blankets divided between 4 charity societies.
