World Mental Health Day is observed on the 10th October. Its a day to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. During it’s 50 years history, the Rotary Club of Salmaniya has been an inclusive space for girls. The Club has involved them in many activities ranging from community service, leadership training and awareness campaigns. Rotary Club of Manama (RCM) has been serving the citizens and the local community of The Kingdom Of Bahrain for more than 56 years, and this year with its challenging obstacles is no exception. This year RCM has decided to focus on Challenged Youth, and help them integrate into the community and the workforce. RCM has been arranging Campaigns to raise funds to support and provide facilities, trainings, coaching, & mentorship for our Challenged Youth to have vocational skills to be independent and get jobs. We are also focusing on spreading awareness on early screening for sickle cell anaemia, and to design and furnish a fully equipped training room for drs and nurses from the GCC to receive training at SMC, as Bahrain Sickle Cell unit has become the Center of Excellence for their outstanding efforts to provide the medical care for patients with blood diseases.
